Hi

I've just started with turbulenceFD and had just purchased a copy of the TFD fundamentals tutorial today, will be going through them as of now.

One thing that I need some help and advise on, how is the the attached video link, beachieved with turbulenceFD? I don't really need a step by step guide, just need to know a general sequence of things that are required. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

PS: I suspect it might involved some x-particles? or maybe not. THanks all

Yes, you would have an expanding emitter with a fast decay rate

Hi

Thanks for the advise. I have tried with a simple set up this morning only setting the temperature to active - the rest of the settings are default. If I do not expand the emitter with time, getting the "cloud" starts at around frame 50'ish. But if I start to increase decay rate and expand the emitter, all I get after simulation is a ring.

Have attached the C4D file that I was playing with and wonder if you can help shed some light on how I can achieve the youtube link effect?

The default settings I have set Rendering to Smoke Shader => Temperature, Fire Shader => None.

Thanks and appreciate any advise.
