Here is a test i did last night, 1 hour sim time and about 2 hours render. I only used one emitter and of course there is a lot that can be improved upon

OK new take on this, this time i rendered out a low res sim to get the overal size and shape to my liking then did an up-res on that. The upres has the advantage of keeping the general form of the sim intact - size and shape. but adds more detail. It is quite fast to do. In the low res sim i lowered the vorticity drastically as well as the turbulence. For the shading i pumped up the smoke thickness and compensated for this by adjusting the fire clears smoke setting and also the shading graph to keep the fire partly visible in the smoke

So it's not brilliant but maybe an improvement on the first ?

That looks great! Any chance of sharing your settings/scene file?

I do not have the file anymore but basically you want to key-frame such things as fuel, temp, burn and emitter force. It is very straightforward just experiment with low settings and adjusting one factor at a time to get the feel of what your changes are doing
