Hi,

I would like how I can transform a feather to an object that can cast shadows. After a long time i've got a result, but I can't move the feather; the only thing that is moving is the spline or the "bounding orange box". I did this:
-Create a spline
-Put it in the feather object
-Modified it the way I want
-Make editable
-Than I put the "Hair object" outside of the group in order to cast a shadow (If I let it in there, there's no shadow...)

Thanks

Don't know much about the feather object but i made a spline and put it in a feather object and added a hair dynamics tag then used a light with soft shadows and it worked. Hard shadows do not seem to show
