Hi,

I'm currently trying to explode an object with the Explosion FX deformer. Everything was fine until I saw that the fragments were passing through the floor. I tried to do the dynamics directly with this combination:

-Collision detection tag
-Rigid body dynamic tag
-Solver

It doesn't worked and than I tried to make the dynamics in Realflow 5. The problem is when I import the .sd file, the fragment are oversized (a lot) and it's impossible to do nothing. What should I do?

Thanks!

I am moving this topic to the correct forum

Explosionfx is not really designed for collisions. You could set the EFX time to a very small amount then do a current state to object then explode the segments. See this topic
http://www.black-and...h__1

If you have mograph you can use the fracture onbject and mograph dynamics

You could use a plugin such as tharusi or catastrophe to break the object up
