Hair renders much faster than pyrocluster and gives us that Krakatoa effect

I ran into a small problem and I can't seem to fix it. Everything works fine except when the plane collides with the letters I get the whiff of smoke but the letters remain on screen.

Make sure the letters are set to not render

Thanks for your reply but after repeating your tut a number of times, I found the problem. I had to change the PDeflector to Object in the Deflector type and to two sides in the Collision Type. Anyway, we learn from our mistakes. Thanks for your reple and your fanatastic site.
