Again using TFD on a somewhat shaky shot ( a pocket Kuzo Veho 002 £100 HD camera), i did not go full HD but used 1280 x 720. It was a day with some fine rain which added o the video artifacts and there may well have been some on the lens !!

Thing is this is exactly what i wanted for this test, not a pristine smooth tracked perfect focus shot. This Blair Witch look meant i had a real test to see if i could get the compositing done and i think i have achieved some progress.

There seems to be little crawl or slip if any
I had to desaturated the TFD render as opposed to enhancing the original footage as i wanted to stay as true to that as possible
I think the MB on the fire is a reasonable match to the footage

I need to investigate how to do separate smoke and fie renders for comping and individual adjusting as i doubt if it as simple as render fire then render smoke and overlay
I also want to investigate separate colour channel manipulation and then i want to see if i can manipulate the original footage to turn this into a night scene

Oh and some embers !!

First time using after effects. Got the sound easing in a bit to suddenly.

Looks good, and a nice and steady bit of camera work. Perhaps for your next test you may want to try something a bit harder with more camera shake and more translational camera movement and practice getting your 3d objects into the scene such that they cast shadows and are affected by AO and scene lighting, that way you get to tackle some more complex tracking which will put you in good stead for the future
