Not too in depth as most settings have been covered in earlier tutorials on turbulence 4d for cinema 4d. I cover keying settings for the explosion, adjusting timing and using 2 different containers for a single final effect

here is the final result

You need to watch the first overview tutorial at least. I will be making some more updated tutorials as soon as the next point version is released assuming it has a fix for my page file usage issue

I think i may stick with concept tutorials as the betas change quite a lot. I think the final is not far away and when it is released i will do some comprehensive tuts and more project based scenarios

Also i am hoping to raise enough funds through the donations to get a cheap ( secondhand) camcorder and some tracking software so i can do some tutorials based on real footage and CG elements - that however may take some time ....

Hi,

My name is Ady, Laticis Imagery is my dream, an infant project that will be my future business and this is my first post on the SFX forums.

First of all I would like to say thank you for the great TFD Tutorials and although I am a new Dec 10 Lightwave user, your thorough breakdown training has greatly helped my understanding of TFD and
in a strange way some of the inner workings of LW.

Please see recent LW10 TFD Tests on my YouTube Channel.

I have a question for you about this specific tutorial, more so relating to the cylinder emitter you used for the ground smoke.
My Emitters are very definable, you can see their shape and can tell what was used as the emitter.
Yours, perfect, no sign of it at all just the end result, and nice expanding cloud mass.

is there a step I am missing, any help or advice would be appreciated.

Cheers Ady
