OK a bit of progress..

The gallery is now functional
Downloads, tutorials and links are working
I have uploaded a couple of tutorials
Member groups are functioning

Next up to get the member forums setup..the idea here is to allow members to create their own sub forums which they can control, they set who can and who cannot join etc. this will be for collaborative projects and i think it would be best to set that up in the projects forum

how come there is no fast reply option?

It should be in your "my controls" on the left look for board settings and then click for the fast reply

i will set it up to come on automatically

I have only had IPB for a couple of days still loads to learn !!
