If the new i/f bugs you then you can always go to perferences and get the classic style back

You can also see how wonderul, or if you are like me how old your ogl implementation is for your graphics card

Mine fails on most points but thankfully i can still run c4d r 10, maya demo version won't even install with my graphics card !!!

I downloaded the Demo last night and started to play around with it. To be honest I think the new layout is so much more User Friendly than the older versions. I do have to say that I love the new version. Unfortunitly the layout images are still coming up black. So rather than try to figure out what is going on with my OpenGL I am buying a new computer.

Cheers,
Ryan

Yeah it's just ballucks, that my OpenGL is not working on my computer. Oh well I will go ahead and buy a new computer, and that should correct the problem. Yes I know I could just buy a new Graphics card, but the wife needs a computer, so she can have this one and I will buy me a new one. Man Power. LOL!!! JK!!!

Ryan

Well, the new version has got some really nice features, but the layout is horrible. I think that it looks like modo.

The new layout is a little different, but once you get used to it. I think it is actually a lot better, and way easier to use. Just give it some time.

Sweet. I got the recovery disks in this past monday, and restored my computer. Turns out it was the OpenGL that caused the images to turn up black when I opened them in C4D. Since restoring the computer the images have shown up perfect.

I agree with you.
I wored now since a month with the new version 10.
It looks great with the new UI.
The bset for me is the new timeline and their funktions.
