Well i have made a start in Cinema 4D, the idea here was to get the perspective and some very preliminary modelling. Just to see if i can get a feel for the light and fall off

Very simple setup, a slight blue sky at 350 % luminosity, not visible to camera
A sphere for the clouds, no gi and visible to camera

An infinite light slightly yellow, area shadows intensity 300 %

Standard GI

Strength 100 %
Accuracy 70 %
PP 1/1
DD 10
SS 2000
Min Res 10
Max Res 100

Color Mapping Exponenetial HSV Model
Dark Multi 4
Bright Multi 1

I just slapped on some texture and now i think i have the light fairly OK i will add the modelling detail and better textures ( though changing the textures will of course alter the gi result)

the shadow of the window on the right wall is interesting, maybe a reflection ? more likely light coming from the left through the window and onto the wall

I may fake it !!!

It is tricky getting your camera to match the image ( best to use a background as the template) however i may have the general view angle right but if you look at the texture on the facing wall you can see the distortion caused by my lens settings

FL 50.043
Apeture width 36
FOV 39.566

this is always something i have wanted to learn how to do properly..any one care to teach !!
